ADP® Gives U.S.-based Large Enterprises 'One View of the World' When Managing Global Payroll
Company Integrates ADP Streamline® into ADP Vantage HCM® Solution to Enrich Clients' Ability to Manage Growing, Global Workforces
ROSELAND, N.J., Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ADP®, a leading global provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, today announced that it is expanding the payroll capabilities of ADP Vantage HCM® by integrating ADP Streamline® global payroll services into the solution. Effective today, large enterprises in the United States with a growing offshore employee population will have a unified payroll solution to better manage and pay their global workforce -- whether they have one or thousands of employees outside the United States.
ADP Streamline -- already used to process five million paychecks annually for over 900 clients operating more than 10,000 locations in 95 countries -- will enhance the already robust nature of the ADP Vantage HCM platform for large U.S.-based enterprises.
The integration of ADP Streamline with ADP Vantage HCM will offer customers the benefits of a global payroll capability housed within the existing ADP ecosystem, eliminating the need for employers to work with different payroll systems cobbled together from multiple vendors operating in different countries.
ADP Streamline's global footprint has grown rapidly. The solution currently is available in countries that are home to 95 percent of employees who work outside the United States for multinational corporations.
"This expanded payroll capability within ADP Vantage HCM addresses a key business need for U.S.-based companies that are increasing their business hiring globally," said Mark Benjamin, President of Global Enterprise Solutions at ADP. "This 'one view of the world' for payroll underscores the breadth, depth and capabilities of ADP, within the United States and globally. We're delighted to bring this global benefit to clients using the ADP Vantage HCM platform."
ADP said the new capability offers U.S.-based companies a single, global HR/payroll interface in the cloud. This helps enable global standardization of payroll processes while assisting companies based in the United States with the unique specialties and intricate complexities of payroll laws and regulations in individual countries.
"This new capability offers value to our U.S.-based clients with employees based outside the United States by providing consolidated reporting and executive payroll dashboards across all geographies – a real advantage over trying to integrate disparate technology across different countries," said Benjamin. "The outstanding geographic coverage and global payroll solution that we've built into ADP Streamline address local compliance and statutory reporting by local experts, while offering our global clients the confidence that ADP is managing the end-to-end process to the highest standards possible."
Major clients continue to benefit from the value offered by the ADP Streamline solution.
For instance, Syngenta® – a company of 27,000 employees around the world – implemented ADP Streamline as part of a major HR transformation project.
"ADP brought discipline to our HR transformation initiative. They offered us the technology we needed and top expertise to deploy it efficiently," said Mark Brinkler, Syngenta's head of HR. "Three years down the line, ADP enables us to deliver payroll in 46 countries to roughly nine of every 10 Syngenta employees, with many of them served by the ADP Streamline solution."
The integration of ADP Streamline into ADP Vantage HCM addresses several global trends:
- First, in a recent study, 59 percent of global respondents said their companies were planning to increase headcount outside of their headquarters country within the next 24 months. (1)
- Second, in the same study, North American respondents said their global enterprises managed, on average, 19 payroll systems at the same time, and 72 percent said they would appreciate having a more coordinated, global payroll system. (1)
- Finally, in a second study, the multi-country payroll outsourcing industry is expected to grow between 25 percent and 30 percent over the next few years. (2)
