ROSELAND, N.J., June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ADP® announced today it is co-sponsoring the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) National Small Business Week (NSBW) one-day event in Dallas. The event, which is held at the Arlington Convention Center, commemorates the 50th anniversary of NSBW by honoring the outstanding contributions of local entrepreneurs, small business owners and other industry leaders.
ADP will lead a free panel discussion for event attendees to help small business owners better understand and prepare for changes stemming from the Affordable Care Act. Robyn Crosson, ADP Senior Counsel, and Jennifer Tingle, ADP Vice President and Counsel, will lead the panel discussion and address upcoming Affordable Care Act mandates and steps small business owners can take to prepare for them.
"For a small business to thrive and grow, it needs to attract and retain the right employees who can help the company succeed. ADP understands that accomplishing this feat isn't easy, especially while also having to comply with complex regulations like the Affordable Care Act. Finding the right partner that integrates human resource solutions with cash flow management and compliance tools can go a long way in helping small business owners succeed," said Anish Rajparia, President of ADP's Small Business Services, which serves more than 425,000 small business clients."We applaud the valuable contributions small businesses provide to their communities and are honored to support National Small Week events in Dallas and across the country."
The SBA established National Small Business Week in 1963, and this year's celebration will mark the first time that it will have featured events in five cities, including Seattle (June 17), Dallas (June 18), St. Louis (June 19), Pittsburgh (June 20) and Washington, D.C. (June 21). ADP subject matter experts will have been on hand at each event to help small business owners understand the implications of the Affordable Care Act as part of panel discussions in Dallas and St. Louis. The week will conclude in Washington, D.C., where ADP will lead a special session on preparing for the Affordable Care Act and understanding its implications for small businesses.
