New carrier-authenticated connectivity service joins expanded operational, capacity and financial intelligence for property-owned ISP networks
DOVER, Del., Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Aditum Connect Inc. has launched Carrier Connect, a new capability of its Wi-Fi Traverse system that lets property owners supplement indoor mobile connectivity using the same infrastructure providing tenants' broadband Internet access. Aditum also expanded its Connect portal for managing property-owned ISP networks with new operational, capacity-planning and financial intelligence.
Carrier Connect uses standards-based Passpoint technology integrated into the Aditum Zero Touch AX series routers already delivering tenant Internet service at speeds up to 1 Gbps upload and download. Property owners choose which available mobile carriers to enable at each property. Mobile devices of subscribers using an enabled carrier can automatically discover and authenticate to the separate, secure Carrier Connect Wi-Fi network using their existing carrier credentials, without a shared password, captive portal or interaction with tenants' private home networks.
Properties with weak indoor cellular coverage can improve mobile connectivity without installing a traditional distributed antenna system (DAS). Carrier Connect supports AT&T, AT&T FirstNet, T-Mobile and additional MVNO providers like Mint Mobile and Google Fi. Some carriers require property-level activation to confirm E911 location-data readiness and potential service conflicts. Verizon support is in the works, with availability expected in late 2026 or early 2027.
Support for AT&T FirstNet extends the same indoor connectivity benefits to first responders using the nationwide public-safety network, providing property owners another way to address areas where weak indoor cellular coverage could affect communications during an emergency.
"Our goal has always been to give property owners and their technology partners purpose-built tools to operate an ISP in a multi-tenant setting, without having to build all the systems a quality ISP requires from scratch," said Brian Higgins, founder and CEO of Aditum Connect. "Carrier Connect extends what that infrastructure can do, while Connect's new intelligence gives operators a clearer view of network performance, capacity needs and business performance."
New Connect dashboards surface portfolio-wide conditions requiring attention, including unusual reconnect activity, latency changes, WAN capacity pressure and service availability. The new Bandwidth Capacity dashboard evaluates each property's dedicated Internet access (DIA) connection against subscriber population and broadband packages, identifying properties that may need upstream fiber upgrades or where capacity could prevent tenants from achieving advertised speeds during periods of demand. Operators can compare calculated requirements with observed 95th-percentile (P95) utilization and model changes using a what-if planning tool.
For customers using Aditum's optional Direct Tenant Billing service, new financial intelligence provides visibility into recurring revenue, collections, past-due balances and revenue per subscriber at the portfolio, client and property levels, plus tenant-level indicators such as typical days to pay and on-time payment history.
Carrier Connect is available now at all current and new properties where Zero Touch AX series routers are deployed. Existing properties using older Zero Touch AC series routers can add it incrementally as AX routers are deployed, allowing both generations to coexist during the transition.
Aditum-powered networks have been in continuous operation for nearly 12 years, with deployments across more than 20 U.S. states, including most major U.S. metropolitan markets.
