Adecco Group in Search of its 2018 'CEO for One Month'
A once in a lifetime opportunity for a determined individual to work alongside Fortune Global 500 executives, earn a $10,000 pay check and elevate their resume to impress future employers
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Feb. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Adecco Group has launched the application process for its annual 'CEO for One Month' program. One talented and ambitious person will soon earn the internship of a lifetime, working alongside the organization's U.S. executive team and experiencing what it's like to run a Fortune Global 500 company. Last year, the competitive program received over 20,000 applications, which were then narrowed down to six finalists and ultimately one candidate was named 'CEO for One Month.'
This year, eight top candidates from across the country will shadow six Adecco Group brand presidents – from Adecco USA, Accounting Principals, Entegee, Modis and Special Counsel – as well as three corporate leaders – the organization's Head of Human Resources, Chief Information Officer and Head of Finance – in preparation for a boot camp that will determine who will be named the 2018 CEO for One Month. Once selected, this person will go on to shadow the Adecco Group's leadership team, including CEOs John Marshall and Federico Vione, while earning a $10,000 salary during a four-week internship program.
"The CEO for One Month program aims to provide the next generation of professionals with invaluable, real-world experiences that will position them for success in the future. By working shoulder to shoulder with our executive team, these candidates will come away with a true understanding of what it takes to be a leader within an international organization," said John Marshall, CEO of Adecco Group North America, UK & Ireland, Professional Staffing.
Forty-seven countries and territories around the world have also launched the 'CEO for One Month' program, now in its fifth year. Following the U.S. internship program, the domestic CEO for One Month also has the chance to be selected for the Global program, providing them with the opportunity to shadow Adecco Group Global CEO Alain Dehaze, based out of Zurich, Switzerland.
"At Adecco Group, we believe it is important to invest in training the future workforce," said Federico Vione, CEO of Adecco Group North America, UK & Ireland, Adecco and Pontoon. "This program aims to provide these candidates with the necessary tools and experiences that will help them in their future endeavors, while instilling confidence that can be carried on throughout their career."
The general application period ends April 16. Apply here for the opportunity to become the 2018 Adecco Group 'CEO for One Month,' and follow @AdeccoGroupNA and #CEO1Month for the latest updates.
