Addison Hospitality Group Files Lawsuit Against Former Employees Jason Kaciupski and Heather Conover
NEW YORK, Feb. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Addison Hospitality Group (AHG), owner and operator of Monarch Rooftop & Indoor Lounge, has filed a lawsuit in New York County Supreme court against former Director of Events, Jason Kaciupski and Event Manager Heather Conover, for breach of their nondisclosure-confidentiality agreements and tortious interference.
The complaint alleges that the two colluded to create a competing events booking business, Event Venues NYC, while still employed by AHG, poaching hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of business from the hospitality group. Kaciupski and Conover were employed by Addison Hospitality Group since May 2016 and May 2017, respectively. Conover was previously an events director for Sky Room, while Kaciupski was an events manager at the Diamond Horseshoe and the Standard Hotel. Addison Hospitality Group is seeking $1m in compensatory and punitive damages.
Addison Hospitality Group is represented by William F. Fitzgerald of Messner Reeves LLP.
