Addiction Campuses of America Acquires Turning Point Recovery and Spring2Life
Experienced management team unites to provide integrative approach to addiction and behavioral health treatment focusing on sustained recovery and outcomes
NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Freedom Healthcare of America, LLC ("Freedom"), d/b/a Addiction Campuses of America ("ACA"), announced today its acquisitions of Turning Point Recovery, a North Mississippi and Memphis, Tennessee, area provider of addiction treatment and behavioral health services, and Spring2Life, a Murfreesboro, Tennessee, provider of addiction, recovery and behavioral services with a spiritual focus. In conjunction with these acquisitions, Fulcrum Equity Partners ("Fulcrum") led a $3.8 million Series A funding round alongside management and Harpeth Ventures.
Based in Brentwood, Tennessee, Addiction Campuses of America was founded by Brent Clements to serve as a platform for acquiring and managing behavioral health programs throughout the United States while providing best-in-class patient care. "We have assembled a powerful team of experienced industry veterans and investors to help us execute our growth strategy," said Clements. "Unfortunately, addiction and other behavioral health issues are becoming increasingly prevalent throughout our country. At ACA, we have treatment plans and processes that result in successful outcomes and help our patients lead healthy, productive lives going forward."
Addiction Campuses of America plans to integrate the two newly acquired programs while also pursuing additional growth through other targeted acquisitions.
"When we first met Brent and his team we were impressed by their desire to serve those in need," said Tom Greer, a partner with Fulcrum. "Our investment will provide ACA with the growth capital it needs to pursue its passion of building a world-class behavioral healthcare organization."
Harpeth Capital, LLC advised Addiction Campuses of America on the financing and, via Harpeth Ventures, co-invested alongside Fulcrum.
