SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ADARA Networks®, a global software company in the cloud computing and software-defined networking (SDN) space, and ON.Lab today announced that ADARA has joined the ONOS project as collaborator, and will package ONOS for distribution as part of ADARA's SDN solutions.
ONOS is a carrier-grade open source SDN networking operating system for service provider and mission-critical networks, architected to provide the high performance, scale and availability these networks need. In addition, ONOS has created useful northbound abstractions and APIs to enable easier application development and southbound abstractions and interfaces to allow for control of Open Flow-ready and legacy devices.

- Data Center Interconnection
ADARA's SDN solutions that will be packaged together with ONOS for distribution include: the ADARA Sky SDN Controller and Path Computation Engine and the ADARA CloudFabric Cloud Management Platform for P+V Infrastructure Orchestration with the ONOS Controller and the ONOS code enhanced with ADARA contributed Event Notification, Message Queue and OpenFlow Optical Extensions, as well as ONOS Intent Framework Extensions for SLA Management.
