HILLSBOROUGH, N.C., Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Adamandeve.com (http://www.adamandeve.com), America's most trusted source for adult products, is back this month with new results from its annual sex survey. This time, the company asked over 1,000 adults if they would be open to having a relationship with someone who is bisexual, and the responses they got may surprise you.
With just under half (47%) of those polled saying they would not be open to having a relationship with a bisexual individual, 35% of the respondents said they were open to it and 19% said they were undecided.
Of these, more men than women (39% versus 31%) were open to a relationship with a bisexual partner, while 23% of the women versus 15% of the men were unsure.
"Bisexuality is defined as a sexual and/or romantic attraction to both males and females," explains adamandeve.com sexpert Dr. Kat Van Kirk. "It's encouraging to see that people are open to the idea of sexuality encompassing more than the traditional male/female partnership."
"Adam & Eve promotes healthy sexuality between consenting adults regardless of their sexual preference," says adamandeve.com Director of Marketing Chad Davis. "Because sex is something every adult should enjoy, Adam & Eve carries products for every type of relationship."
The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.
