HILLSBOROUGH, N.C., Sept. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Adamandeve.com (http://www.adamandeve.com/news), America's most trusted source for adult products, is back with another fascinating reveal on what really goes on in the bedroom. This month, the company asked over 1,000 adults for details on cheating – specifically, how they stopped cheating.
An overwhelming majority of the respondents (74%) said they had called off the affair themselves. Just over 12% said their cheating has not ended, while 8% said their lover had ended the affair and 6% said they got caught and stopped.
"While cheating is often a symptom of some other underlying problem in a relationship, I find it encouraging that so many people stop cheating on their own," says Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexpert for adamandeve.com. "With motivation and time, as well as efforts in communication, most couples can recover from infidelity."
"Adam & Eve encourages couples to monogamy without monotony," says adamandeve.com Director of Marketing Chad Davis. "We believe that a sex positive relationship can include erotic toys, games and novelties to help keep the spark alive."
The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. "Sex Chat with Dr. Kat" can be found on podcasts through iTunes or www.drkat.com. Her new book, "The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life," can be found on Amazon.com.
