HILLSBOROUGH, N.C., Nov. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Adamandeve.com (http://www.adamandeve.com), America's most trusted source for adult products, is back this month with new results from its annual sex survey. This time, the company asked over 1,000 adults if they felt high schools should provide free condoms to students, and the overwhelming majority said yes.
Nearly 77% of the respondents believed that high schools should provide condoms to students upon request, while just over 23% did not. Surprisingly, 82% of the females vs. 71% of the males, felt that condoms should be provided to high schoolers.
"While studies show that more high school students are refraining from having sex, it's important for those who do to be responsible," says Dr. Kat Van Kirk, resident sexologist for Adam & Eve. "I'm pleased to see that adults are being open-minded regarding teens and sex. It's important to note that providing teens with options is not the same thing as encouraging the behavior or granting permission for sex."
The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices. "Sex Chat with Dr. Kat" can be found on podcasts through iTunes or www.drkat.com. Her book, "The Married Sex Solution: A Realistic Guide to Saving Your Sex Life," can be found on Amazon.com.
