Adam Wohl Joins SRG as Executive Creative Director
Global Ad Industry Veteran Bolsters Creative Leadership as Independent Agency Enters Its 34th Year of Growth
BOULDER, Colo., April 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sterling-Rice Group (SRG), a Boulder-based brand consultancy and creative agency, has hired advertising industry talent Adam Wohl as Executive Creative Director (ECD). In this role, Wohl will oversee creative at SRG, bolstering the agency's communications practice, which spans advertising, digital, and integrated marketing.
Wohl comes to SRG from New York. He was most recently Global Creative Director/ECD at TBWA/Chiat/Day, where he led the firm's work for BNY Mellon, Michelin, and other clients. He led the team responsible for TBWA/Chiat/Day's, "First Drives" campaign for Michelin and the agency's award-winning "93/7" campaign for BNY Mellon.

Wohl has spent his life telling stories. After graduating from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University with a degree in film, Wohl's very first script was selected by Warner Brothers for the company's prestigious Writers Program. Since then, Wohl has written television and film scripts for most major studios, and he remains an active member of the Writers Guild of America.
Prior to TBWA/Chiat/Day, Wohl was ECD at mcgarrybowen, where he led creative for P&G, Marriott, and United Airlines, as well as worked on the Maserati and Verizon brands. Before that, Wohl managed the global Samsung account for Cheil USA, where he helped drive the most profitable year in Samsung's history. His work for Samsung included the "Olympic Drums" and "Ultimate Multitasker" spots featuring David Beckham and James Franco, respectively.
He also worked as freelance creative director on the Wendy's brand for Kaplan Thaler and on Nike for Wieden+Kennedy in Portland.

Early in his ad career, Wohl cofounded MIR, an award-winning agency focused on the intersection of storytelling and technology. MIR worked with many top-tier brands, including Amex, Citi, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Lexus, LG, Nissan, and Unilever, and was sold to Publicis in 2011.
