- The workplace expert will play an active role in Namely's community of forward-thinking HR professionals
NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Namely, the leading HR platform for mid-sized companies, today announced that Adam Grant, the top-rated Wharton professor and New York Times-bestselling author, has joined as a formal advisor.
From his books—Give and Take, Originals, and Option B—to his WorkLife podcast, Grant is a leading voice in how people find motivation and meaning in their lives. In this advisory role, Grant will bring his deep expertise, academic insight, and passion for bettering the workplace to Namely. On the heels of his sold-out keynote at Namely's 2018 HR Redefined conference, Grant will participate in a number of key initiatives—including the company's Client Advisory Board and gender equality event series, #SpeakHerMind.
"There is no question that Adam is pushing the boundaries of how we think about work and human behavior, and we are honored that he will continue to share his talents with us," says Namely CEO, Elisa Steele. "Thought leadership is a key part of the Namely experience, and Adam is one of the best leaders out there. We know he will continue to influence our community and our technology for the better."
"At HR Redefined, I was struck by the engagement of Namely's audience. The group was clearly committed to innovation in employee experience and redefining the HR profession," adds Grant. "I'm thrilled to join Namely in an advisory role, helping to drive new people strategies at mid-sized companies across the country."
As he begins this new role, Namely is sharing some of Grant's lessons for HR and will continue to bring his advisory insights to the larger HR community.
