TORRANCE, Calif., July 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Acura posted June sales of 8,708, a decrease of 22.8 percent compared to June 2010, based on the daily selling rate*. Year-to-date sales totaled 60,680 units, down 1.4 percent. Although production limitations caused by the March 11 earthquake in Japan continued to improve, reduced vehicle supplies adversely affected June sales results.

The MDX continued as Acura's sales leader with 3,374 units sold. Light truck sales tallied 4,545 units and car sales posted 4,163 units for June, down 20 and 25.5 percent respectively. TL reported 2,296 sales for the month and TSX 1,808 units.
