'Actually, a North Korean Warship Shot a Missile' Says Tim LaHaye
Edge of Apocalypse, the first book in The End series, releases tomorrow April 20
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- While the world is watching and trying to figure out whether the North Koreans sank the South Korean ship, Chenoan, Zondervan will release Edge of Apocalypse by attorney Craig Parshall and Tim LaHaye, creator and co-author of the world renowned Left Behind series. The End series is an apocalyptic epic infused with political intrigue ripped from today's headlines.
Edge of Apocalypse jumpstarts the series as military-hero-turned-inventor Joshua Jordan attempts to save Manhattan from two nuclear missiles launched by North Korea. Using his Return to Sender military defense system, Jordan finds himself facing an unbearable ransom to the nation he loves. As tensions escalate and global alliances topple, only Jordan and a secret group known only as The Patriots can save the United States from terrorists abroad and traitors within.
"The End series includes very timely issues and many prophecies that were not covered in Left Behind," said LaHaye, "this is a political thriller that has today's world believability."
Set in the very near future, The End series chronicles the earth shattering events which eventually lead up to the Rapture and the beginning of the prophesied Last Days of mankind.
Edge of Apocalypse will release worldwide on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 with a first print run of 250,000 copies.
