The 5' 4 1/2" comedienne, who recently signed on to join William Shatner in the new Twitter-based CBS comedy pilot "S**t My Dad Says," is the mother of two boys under the age of three. After trying various fad diets, cleanses and unhealthy methods to drop weight after her first child, Sullivan found herself coping with mood swings and weight loss that only lasted a few weeks at a time. Following her second pregnancy, Sullivan joined Jenny Craig after her son was six weeks old and pledged to follow Jenny Craig's clinically proven weight management program for safe, moderate weight loss.
"I am beyond thrilled with my success on the Jenny Craig program," said Sullivan. "Before starting Jenny Craig, I really felt like I had tried every diet under the sun, and nothing worked – not to mention how crabby I always was from taking unrealistic steps to lose weight! With Jenny, I finally feel like I have a partner in achieving my goals and staying accountable. My consultant Becky has made losing the weight easy for me and kept me motivated along the way.
"After having Beckett, I dreamed of a day where I'd feel comfortable enough in a swimsuit, let alone a bikini, to join my husband on pool-side play dates. Getting into a bikini again and feeling as good as I feel now, especially now that I am almost forty, is such an amazing feeling. Jenny Craig has truly made a difference in my relationship with food and with my body, and the best part of it all is that now my two children will always see Mommy as healthy! And my husband Jason can't be more thrilled; he's lost 25 pounds of 'sympathy weight' to boot."
Sullivan followed the food-body-mind principles of Jenny Craig by meeting with her consultant weekly, following a nutritional balanced menu and gradually increasing her activity over the course of four months from walking 1-2 times a week up to 4-5 times a week for 45 minutes. Nicole lost 35 lbs on the Jenny Craig program in 16 weeks* by adapting portion control and walking. After she hit her goal weight of 124 lbs, Nicole wanted to get toned and worked with trainer Christopher Lane once or twice a week for four weeks to firm up by incorporating mom-friendly traditional exercises in her home such as squats, lunges, push ups and sit ups.
"We are so proud of Nicole for not only achieving her weight loss goals with Jenny Craig but to find that confidence she'd been missing," said Steve Bellach, Vice President, North American Marketing, at Jenny Craig. "She has such an inspiring story for women – especially mothers – who have struggled with their weight while trying to balance all of life's demands. We congratulate her on her success and wish her all the best in maintaining her great new physique!"
The national television commercial featuring Sullivan's new bikini body will begin airing Monday, March 22. Sullivan joins an exciting roster of Jenny Craig celebrity clients who have already achieved their weight loss goals or are well on their way, including Valerie Bertinelli, Jason Alexander, Sara Rue, Phylicia Rashad and Queen Latifah.
