A popular annual event, the On Demand Summit focuses on the revenue growth generated on the programming side of the television business. "This Summit comes at a critical time in the television industry," said Louis Hillelson. "As technology offers consumers a wider range of viewing options, more content is available on demand. As a result, the entire business model for programming distribution, production and sponsorship is in flux. That is why this Summit's theme is about redefining on demand. The On Demand Summit provides the best opportunity for the industry to have a dialogue about the direction the industry is taking for immediate revenue growth."
Each keynote interview will address a different revenue stream. Grenier will address production; Packer will discuss distribution of video content; Janego and Quinn will speak about the current state of distributing motion pictures; Suniewick will address how pay TV is driving more viewership of on demand content; and Hetzel will present compelling data about audience measurement and will be joined by Livek who will share some findings of interest to video providers, programmers and advertisers.
