Actor Ken Garcia Dies at the Age of 43
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Actor Ken Garcia, of Orange County, died of sudden heart failure in his home on June 11th. Ken was an established talented actor as well as a loving, caring husband and father. He recently starred in the feature film 'Area 407' (released by IFC Films), and had a co-starring role with Michael Cudlitz and Melanie Griffith in 'The Grief Tourist,' slated for release this summer. Additionally, he co-starred with Tom Sizemore in the film 'Black Gold.' Ken was a mentor and teacher of up-and-coming actors at his school, Actors Studio of Orange County. He was a partner with Suzanne DeLaurentiis of Suzanne DeLaurentiis Productions, Inc. for the past few years and he will be greatly missed. "Ken wasn't just a business partner with me. He was a warm, caring and talented human being who had a positive impact on everybody that he came in contact with," Suzanne said. Ken Garcia is survived by his wife Ronny Rubens-Garcia and their seven-year-old son Grayson. Services will be held Saturday, June 23rd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sea Cliff Country Club, 6501 Palm Avenue, Huntington Beach, California, 92648.
