ROGERS, Minn., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Activeion today announced the hiring of John C. Walden as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Walden will also become a member of Activeion's board of directors.
Thomas Denison, co-founder and non-executive chairman of the company, noted "Activeion is very pleased with the warm reception its water based spray cleaning and sanitizing devices are receiving from initial markets. We are dedicated to becoming a leading supplier of non-chemical cleaning technology, which will require great leadership from an experienced consumer oriented executive. John Walden's diverse background in technology and consumer focused companies seems perfect for this task. His successful track record of innovation, growth, and managing complex businesses, and his deep experience with multiple distribution channels will be put to good use at Activeion. Activeion, with its water based ionatorEXP™ and ionatorHOM™ line of cleaning devices, has an excellent opportunity to revolutionize the safety of cleaning and the impact of cleaning products on the environment. At the same time, Activeion's products have already proven to dramatically reduce costs of cleaning in commercial environments. I am pleased to be joining the company and its talented team, and excited about its future. As a company, we are committed to helping customers meet their general purpose cleaning needs in a highly responsible and sustainable way."
