(ASCI) today announced the release of Version 12 of its industry-leading Enterprise IT Automation software solution, ActiveBatch. ActiveBatch Version 12 introduces new automation capabilities for improved workload performance, seamless scalability, and enhanced analytics and visibility.

HQA analyzes historical data to predict optimal allocation of workloads. Users can also assign Dynamic Characteristics to pair ActiveBatch Jobs with machines that have specific characteristics that make them suitable to complete the tasks at runtime. Together, these new capabilities improve the intelligent distribution of workloads, sharply reducing slack time and idle machine resources and making IT organizations more efficient.
Also new in ActiveBatch V12 are:
- A new high-performance, customizable ActiveBatch Console
- Improved wait-time optimization to deliver greater insights about what causes workload delays
- Template Reporting, which provides a transparent view into workflows and other objects
