Gabor Promoted to EVP, Chief Media Operations Officer; Brambani, Natko and Margolis Named SVPs
PEARL RIVER, N.Y., July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Active International, the global leader in corporate trade, announced today it has promoted executives Karen Gabor, Karen Brambani, Steven Natko and Liz Margolis to more senior positions within its media buying organization. Gabor has been named EVP, chief media operations officer; while Brambani, Natko and Margolis have been named SVPs – Brambani as SVP, integrated media & business development; Natko as SVP, director of media trade; and Margolis as SVP, director of media operations. All four executives have played key roles in driving growth at Active through their work developing and executing successful media buying solutions for the firm's Fortune 500 clients.

In her new role, Gabor will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the firm's $1 billion domestic media buying and trading activities. Overseeing the firm's buying staff of 140 media specialists who place media across national and local broadcast, syndication, print, out of home, digital media and customized sponsorships, Gabor has a deep understanding of the media marketplace and uses this expertise to create trade transactions that directly benefit Active's clients and media partners. A 20-year veteran of the firm, Gabor previously served as Active's senior vice president and director of worldwide media operations.
As SVP, integrated media & business development, Brambani will be responsible for leading the development of new business opportunities for Active's Integrated Media Division and providing focus and support in identifying new business opportunities for strategic, multi-platform initiatives. Brambani's twenty-year history at Active and her broad base of media experience make her uniquely qualified to take on this responsibility.
In his new role as SVP, director of media trade, Natko will be responsible for building and managing trading activity across all media disciplines and developing trade positions with key media partners across all media platforms. Since joining Active in 1992, Natko has successfully grown its trading activity, developing new trading products to support the ever-changing media business. He also brings international experience having served as European Media Manager for Active's London office, where he was responsible for media trade activity and implementing client campaigns. In the first several years of his tenure, he was focused on building trading activity with the Local TV and Radio groups by supporting and training Active's buyers.
As SVP, director of media operations, Margolis will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of Active's integrated media division. Previously, she served as VP, associate director of media operations. Margolis has been instrumental in managing Active's Broadcast Operations and has played a vital role in the implementation of "Media Bank," Active's state-of-the-art media stewardship system that is an essential part of Active's ability to deliver leading edge strategic planning and buying solutions, across all disciplines.
