Actifirm Names Hal Rose as New CEO

DALLAS, June 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas-based Actifirm, an industry-leading innovator of advanced, science-driven beauty products and professional skin care treatments, has appointed growth company veteran Hal Rose as its chief executive officer. Rose was promoted from the position of vice president after just two years with the company. In his new role as CEO, Rose will oversee operations, brand positioning and strategic growth for Actifirm's extensive business-to-business and consumer sales and marketing programs.

Rose brings more than 20 years of expertise with private growth companies including within the U.S and international beauty and personal care industry, involving leadership roles in business operations, development and financial investments. Joining senior leadership with Actifirm and its sister company ActiTech in 2010, Rose also served with Active Organics, where he led the team in the successful sale of the company to Lubrizol in December 2011. In his work with Actifirm, Rose has led the development of its new website, the building of a new team, and development of several new products and sales and marketing programs, among other strategic growth programs.

He previously was a founder of a firm providing outsourced general counsel and strategic business services to high-growth companies and private equity groups throughout the U.S. Rose began his career in the private practice of law for a top U.S. and international law firm.
