Acreage Holdings Announces Hire of Robert Daino as Chief Operating Officer

NEW YORK, Aug. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Acreage Holdings ("Acreage"), one of the United States' largest vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis operators, announced the hire of Robert ("Bob") Daino as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Daino will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operations at the corporate headquarters and throughout Acreage's growing footprint of vertically-integrated growers, processors and dispensaries throughout the United States. He brings extensive experience leading organizations of all sizes and life-stages through transformational change resulting in outstanding financial performance and growth. His management experience spans multiple industries and sectors, including software and systems engineering, information technology, program management, facility construction and management, and process engineering and change management.

Most recently, Daino was an investor, advisor, and CEO of Terradiol, a biopharmaceutical company producing, manufacturing, and distributing medical cannabis products. During his time at Terradiol, Daino also served as the President and CEO of WCNY Public Media where he transformed the public broadcast station into a national leader. He created the first of its kind, highly-technical central casting outsourcing service, transforming public broadcasting in the United States with over 42% of the United States viewing audiences receiving their programming from the WCNY facility.

In addition, Daino served as President and CEO of PROMERGENT, a business leader providing process, change, and document management software and services to power generation & distribution, federal government systems and solutions, manufacturing and telecommunications. He also spent 13 years at General Electric, where he held a host of technical and senior management roles in a variety of business sectors leading change, growth, and top company performance.
