ACP's 40th Annual Session in Orlando, Nov. 3-6, Helping You Do What You Do Everyday, Only Better
CHICAGO, June 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As the College celebrates its 40th Anniversary, plan to attend the premiere prosthodontic meeting of the year, the 40th Annual Session of the American College of Prosthodontists on Nov. 3-6 in Orlando, Fla. More than 1,500 prosthodontists, general dentists, dental technicians and dental industry professionals will gather to learn the latest in prosthodontic trends, leading edge technology and other advances impacting the specialty.
New this year is a Keynote Speaker during Thursday's Scientific Session, sponsored by Ivoclar Vivadent, featuring Malcolm Gladwell, a four-time New York Times bestselling author, who will explore his theory on "outliers" as it relates to prosthodontists and the specialty. Other can't miss moments of the conference include a new workshop offered in Spanish – Estetica, Implantes y casos de alta complejidad para Odontologos Internacionales (Esthetics, Implants and Complex Cases for International Practitioners); and two new dental laboratory workshops presented together with Spectrum Dialog – Digital Realities for Dental Laboratories and Digital Restorative Symposium – Beauty Through Technology.
Building upon last year's momentum, this year's conference promises an exceptional lineup of speakers, workshops, exhibits, Technology Forum, events and networking opportunities to expand attendees' vision and improve daily practices. In the frenzied pace of a prosthodontist's day, many often do not have time to ask, "How could I have done that better?" Taking a page from Better: A Surgeon's Notes on Performance, by Atul Gawande, M.D., this year's Scientific Session theme is "better." In Better, Gawande discusses three virtues essential for success in medicine: diligence, doing right and ingenuity. Scientific Session speakers will relate this concept throughout their presentations, with the goal of each attendee learning practical ideas that will help them do what they do everyday, only better.
