WASHINGTON, July 31, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which focuses on constitutional law and pro-life issues, announced today it is representing the Center for Medical Progress, as well as its founder David Daleiden and board member Troy Newman, in a lawsuit filed against them by the National Abortion Federation – a federal lawsuit aimed at stopping the release of additional videos revealing the dismemberment and sale of body parts by abortion organizations.
"This is a critical case involving the First Amendment and the constitutionally-protected rights of freedom of speech and freedom of the press," said Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel of the ACLJ. "We are representing all of the defendants in this federal case and will aggressively defend against this unwarranted attack on the First Amendment."
The Center for Medical Progress has released four videos which reveal Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of body parts, as well as abortion techniques used to harvest the body parts during abortions.
Led by Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow, the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), focusing on constitutional law, is based in Washington, D.C. and is online here.
