ST. LOUIS, June 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Aclara Technologies ("Aclara"), a leading supplier of smart infrastructure solutions (SIS) to electric, gas and water utilities, will showcase its wide range of water systems in Booth 2733 at ACE17, the annual conference of the American Water Works Association (AWWA), which is being held June 11–14 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
Aclara will feature its entire water portfolio, including advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and on-demand meter-reading capability as well as advanced software solutions for consumer engagement, data management, analytics and utility headend systems. The company also will show its acoustic leak detection solution and its state-of-the-art, software-driven implementation services.
The robust suite of Aclara solutions provides the platform for the "new Aclara," a company committed to providing a single point of accountability for its water utility partners at every step of their individual journeys, from initial planning to implementation and beyond. A single point of accountability eliminates the need for utilities to work with multiple suppliers when implementing an AMI system.
"Utilities today need to look beyond AMI communications. They must leverage their AMI investments," said Allan Connolly, president and CEO of Aclara. "They need actionable insights into the operation of their distribution systems to resolve additional challenges such as non-revenue water loss."
Aclara is highlighting a number of solutions, including:
- Its water analytics tool, developed in strategic partnership with Valor Water Analytics. Valor's machine learning and artificial intelligence methodologies help utilities meet revenue assurance goals by pinpointing meters that are not registering correctly. Read more here.
- The Aclara ACE® consumer engagement solution, which heightens water customers' awareness of consumption and improves customer satisfaction.
- Its ProField® installation service software and additional developments including new, scalable data management capability that provide an extensible analytics framework and unified dashboard with push notifications.
- The STAR® network AMI, which provides near-real-time data collection from water meters and devices such as pressure and sanitary sewer overflow monitors, and the STAR ZoneScan acoustic leak detection system, which identifies leaks on the underground water-distribution system to within a few feet.
Show attendees can attend the following demos and presentations hosted in Booth 2733 followed by a cocktail hour from 4:00 to 5:00 pm both days:
Monday, June 12, 2:30 pm - Broken Meter Beater: Revenue Assurance Solution
Tuesday, June 13, 2:30 pm - Protect Your AMI investment: Effectively Project Manage Your Smart Meter Deployment with Real-Time Status Updates
Tuesday, June 13, 3:15 pm - Is Your Software Solution Future-Proof?
