ACL Semiconductors Appoints Dr. Hung Ming Joseph Chu to Board of Directors
HONG KONG, Jan. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- ACL Semiconductors Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ACLO.OB), a leading China-based distributor of Samsung memory electronic products in Hong Kong and Southern China, announced today the appointment of Dr. Hung Ming Joseph Chu to its Board of Directors effective immediately.
Mr. Alan Yang, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ACL Semiconductors, commented "We are extremely pleased to add Dr. Chu as an independent director to our board of directors. Dr. Hung Ming Joseph Chu is currently the Vice President of Global Business Development at Sydaap Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Prior to 2008 he was the Vice President for Mirics Semiconductor, a developer of silicon and software solutions for analog and digital broadcast reception. From 2005 to 2008, Dr. Chu was the Vice President and Director of Business Development at Parlex Corp. (NASDAQ: PRLX) now a subsidiary of Johnson Electric. Dr. Chu has over 25 years of experience in the communications and semiconductor industries, with 18 of those years spent focusing on business development and marketing activities in Asia.
