Acision Appoints James Israel as Senior Vice President and General Manager for North America
Mobile messaging leader appoints former Ericsson executive to head operations in region and strengthen market position
PLANO, Texas, May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Acision, the global leader in mobile messaging, today announces the appointment of James Israel as senior vice president and general manager, North America. Israel, who joined Acision in 2011 as vice president of sales for North America, brings more than 18 years experience in the communications industry in areas including product management, sales and services. In this role, he will be instrumental in strengthening the company's presence and growth in the region by driving business development and sales.
During a 13-year career with Ericsson, Israel held a number executive positions across multiple global markets, including assignments in the US, UK, Canada and Sweden. His responsibilities ranged from launching new operations to consulting on change management and growing existing businesses. He has worked with major operators, application developers, system integrators and equipment providers covering a broad range of telecommunications products and services.
