Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy Offers Exciting CEU Workshop in Dallas, Texas

DALLAS, Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy- http://www.achievebeyondusa.com - is pleased to announce it will be offering a CEU workshop titled "Pediatric Feeding: An overview of development and treatment." This workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn Dallas Central Park Cities in Dallas, TX on September 28^th 2013 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. The training will offer 0.35 ASHA & 3.5 AOTA CEUs for Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists that attend the training.

The Pediatric Feeding workshop will teach attendees about normal feeding patterns vs. feeding disorders in infants and toddlers. This workshop will also cover techniques and strategies used to treat the broad spectrum of pediatric feeding disorders. Some of the learning outcomes for this training include being able to list and describe at least three infant oral motor reflexes, differences between sensory vs. motor feeding disorders in children and being able classify several feeding treatment techniques.  

This Pediatric Feeding CEU workshop will be presented by Sonu Sanghoee, MS, CCC-SLP who has an extensive history of working with pediatrics. Ms. Sanghoee has a comprehensive knowledge of language development for monolingual and bilingual children, early intervention / preschool speech and language evaluation, and oral motor and feeding development of children. She has conducted many focused workshops on feeding techniques, evaluations and general best practices of Speech and Language Pathology.
