June revenues grew 25.3% over the previous month
TAIPEI, Taiwan, July 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) announced today its consolidated revenues for the second quarter at NT$58.47 billion, up 9.1% YoY, and up 6.7% over the previous quarter. It also reported revenues for June at NT$23.48 billion, up 25.3% over the previous month, and up 10.6% year-on-year (YoY).
Acer's gaming line[1] was a key contributor to the growth, growing 107% in terms of revenue for the first half of the year. Another bright spot was its Chromebook line which saw double-digit growth.
In the second quarter, Acer saw double-digit revenue growth YoY in the Pan-America and Pan-Asia Pacific regions, with a notable growth of nearly 20% in the US market.
