Acentia Hires Kim Bahrami to Lead Business Growth in Military and Veterans Healthcare Market
FALLS CHURCH, Va., Jan. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Acentia, a premier employer and provider of technology and management solutions, today announced that Kim Bahrami has joined the company as Vice President, Business Development. Bahrami will lead Acentia's business expansion into new and strategic healthcare areas within the Departments of Defense (DoD) and Veterans Affairs (VA).

Bahrami has over 25 years of experience in these markets as a Program Manager, Managing Director, Lead Strategist, and Business Development Executive. She has been instrumental in revenue generation for a number of recognized healthcare organizations including SAIC, BearingPoint/KPMG, Apptis, Evolvent and CSC. Bahrami also served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the State of Florida where she initially focused on oversight and improvement of the state's priority healthcare IT initiatives. Subsequently, she led the implementation of MyFlorida.Com, developed and executed the initial phases of the state's Network Modernization and Data Center Consolidation programs, and established the state's Enterprise Security Services platform.
