ACEDS honors eDiscovery innovators and pioneers for outstanding contributions and achievements
MIAMI, Oct. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS), a BARBRI Professional Association, today announced the winners of the 2015 ACEDS Awards, marking the first time eDiscovery professionals have been formally recognized at the prestigious annual ACEDS member conference.
This inaugural awards ceremony closed out the sixth annual conference, which was attended by more than 400 eDiscovery leaders and professionals from across the country. The award nominees and honorees represent a spectrum of professions within the eDiscovery field and ACEDS chapters from across the country. Individuals were nominated by their peers and winners selected by an illustrious judging panel of legal and eDiscovery experts: Shawnna Childress, senior managing consultant for IBM, and co-founder and executive director of Women in EDiscovery; Jared Coseglia, president and founder, TRU Staffing Partners; Tom Gelbmann, principal of Gelbmann & Associates, and co-founder of EDRM & Apersee; Tom O'Connor, senior eDiscovery consultant at Advanced Discovery; John Roman, director of IT operations and eDiscovery services, Nixon Peabody.
