TAMPA, Fla., April 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Accusoft, the leader in content and imaging solutions, today announced cloud hosting options for document viewing, collaboration, and processing for European Union (EU) customers that meets requirements for EU Data Protection Directive compliance. The EU Data Protection Directive regulates the transfer of EU customer personal data to countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

Accusoft's new cloud hosting option, offered via Amazon Web Services (AWS), allows customers in the EU to take full advantage of powerful document and imaging services while remaining compliant with EU Data Protection Model Clauses. The standardized contractual clauses are used in agreements between service providers and their customers to ensure personal data leaving the EEA is transferred in compliance with the EU Data Protection Law and meets requirements of the EU Data Protection Directive.
