Accusoft adds enhanced digital signature technology in latest release of ImageGear.NET image processing software
TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Accusoft, the leader in document and imaging solutions for developers, announces the latest release of ImageGear, its all-in-one image viewing and processing toolkit.
ImageGear.NET v.23.4, the newest version of its .NET image processing library, offers several updates focusing on digital signature functionality for PDF files. ImageGear and other innovative products serve a host of diverse professional fields, such as medical, legal and higher education, who have come to trust the Accusoft name over the last 26 years.
The use of digital signatures in documents has become a common business practice. These verify the identities of the parties involved, confirm transaction terms and ensure that those terms haven't been subsequently changed by any party.
Digital signatures use a specific security protocol to ensure meeting these objectives. The newest ImageGear release uses this technology to give everyone involved complete confidence that the agreement is exactly as they intended. The software validates the identities of signing parties, confirms that the document has not been changed, and creates a legally binding agreement once signed.
The upgrades are part of an ongoing initiative by Accusoft to address customer needs related to the expanding area of digital signature technology. ImageGear and other products are constantly being updated to reflect the most recent innovations in development.
"Doing business online has become a way of life, and providing customers more security and peace of mind in their cyber operations is crucial," said Jack Berlin, Accusoft CEO. "We understand this need because we deal with it every day ourselves."
ImageGear is available for other operating platforms and languages as well, such as C, C++ and Java.
