AccuFund's Latest Upgrade to Accounting Suite Offers Support for Microsoft SQL Server Plus New and Enhanced Modules
With Version 4.01, AccuFund Provides Database Server Options, Feature Enhancements to Existing Modules, Further Increasing Usability, Flexibility and Convenience
NEEDHAM, Mass., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- AccuFund, Inc., provider of financial reporting and accounting software for non-profit, municipal and government organizations, today announced the availability of Version 4.01 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite. This latest release offers significant new features, including support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and significant enhancements to the Representative Payee product and numerous other modules. The new capabilities in Version 4.01 further increase the Accounting Suite's usability, flexibility, and convenience.
Most noteworthy in Version 4.01 is that it now supports Microsoft SQL Server in addition to Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere.
"With our continued penetration in the non-profit and government sectors, we saw Microsoft SQL Server as the database server of choice for some larger agencies and realized the need to support that environment," stated Peter Stam, president of AccuFund, Inc. "We want to offer our customers options as well as respond with their preferred database server. With support for Microsoft SQL Server, AccuFund can serve organizations that are already running SQL Server by not requiring them to run multiple types of servers."
AccuFund also significantly enhanced its Representative Payee product. The Client Accounting, Fixed Assets and Allocations modules in the Accounting Suite have been added to Representative Payee, allowing users to generate banking transactions such as interest, make deposits from multiple client accounts at the same time, hold deposited funds until checks have cleared and add more demographics to client profiles. Security has been enhanced in Representative Payee to allow organizations to separate clients by region, area or office.
Other Accounting Suite modules receiving major enhancements include Purchasing, Web Pay and Employee Time Entry. With the Purchasing module, users can now make blanket purchase orders and indicate or change the vendor to be paid at the point of invoice entry. Change orders can also now be entered for existing Purchase Orders.
The Web Pay module now allows users to process online credit card payments for utility bills and court fines while also meeting PCI compliance requirements. With the Employee Time Entry module, organizations' employees can enter their clock-in and clock-out times for specific tasks during the daily time entry.
Version 4.01 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite also features enhancements to the core product and several other key modules, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipts, Client Accounting, Loan Tracking, Payroll, and Utility Billing. Version 4.01 also offers the ability to distribute standard and financial reports to identified lists via email.
Availability
The AccuFund Accounting Suite Version 4.01 is available in both Standard and Professional editions. Pricing begins at $2,995 and $6,595, respectively.
