Accolade Names Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Product Management to Expand Digital Health Platform and Solutions

SEATTLE, Oct. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Accolade, an on-demand healthcare concierge for employers, health plans and health systems, today announced the appointments of Harish Naidu as Chief Technology Officer and Phong Nguyen as Executive Vice President of Product Management. Both executives bring decades of experience using technology to simplify complex processes and success launching innovative product solutions.

These new executives join a talented team of data scientists, technologists and clinicians who are re-engineering how consumers navigate and manage their healthcare. Mr. Nguyen is based in Accolade's suburban Philadelphia office. Mr. Naidu is based in Seattle, where the company's new healthcare technology innovation center has contributed to nearly 100-percent growth in Accolade's technology operations during the past 12 months.

Mr. Naidu brings more than two decades of software industry product development experience to Accolade, where he is responsible for building out and leading the company's product capabilities. Prior to joining Accolade, Mr. Naidu was Executive Vice President at Globalscholar/Scantron. Mr. Naidu previously spent 22 years with Microsoft, where he served as General Manager for several products and strategic initiatives. Mr. Naidu received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai, and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University at Buffalo.

Mr. Nguyen applies more than 20 years working in technology to his role as EVP of Product Management for Accolade, where he is responsible for the overall strategy, roadmap and design of the company's portfolio of products. Prior to Accolade, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Concur's Expense and Invoice products and also held leadership roles in the company's Traveler Services, Mobile and Platform businesses. Mr. Nguyen also held multiple roles at SAP, serving as Vice President across key functions including Mobility, Emerging Markets and Corporate Development. He earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and graduated as a Joseph Wharton Scholar from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Nguyen sits on the board of directors of the Lupus Foundation of America.
