Acclaim Energy Reduces Energy Costs More Than 10% for Municipal Utility Districts

HOUSTON, Aug. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Acclaim Energy Advisors recently restructured electricity agreements for an aggregation pool of 62 municipal utility districts ("MUDs") to obtain more favorable rates.  The restructuring provides the MUDs with immediate budget relief and improved pricing going forward.  Each MUD expects to realize annual savings between 10.4% and 13.3% over the next two years and is positioned for even greater savings in the future.
