LANSING, Mich., Sept. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Accident Fund Holdings, Inc. has announced the hiring of Said Taiym as chief information officer. Taiym joins the holding company's executive team and will be responsible for overseeing information technology solutions across the Enterprise.

Taiym brings 15 years of experience in technology transformation associated with underwriting, discipline-specific enterprise enablement initiatives, distribution, pricing analytics and business intelligence. Prior to joining Accident Fund Holdings, he served as vice president of Information Technology at XL Group Services, where he was responsible for defining and executing the overall information technology vision and roadmap. He held information technology management positions with Zurich North America Commercial, Accenture and State Farm Insurance.
Taiym holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and has earned the Executive Management certification from Columbia University and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
