Accident Fund commits $50,000 to Sparrow Foundation to improve health of workers
LANSING, Mich., Nov. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Accident Fund is donating $50,000 over the next five years to the Sparrow Foundation fund for Occupational Health Services (OHS) to be used for the prevention and medical treatment of work-related injuries.

Sparrow's OHS Department currently treats 18,000 Patients per year and works with more than 500 Lansing-area employers.

Sparrow OHS is the region's only hospital-based healthcare program that provides occupational health services to businesses. Occupational health programs provide a comprehensive approach to the healthcare needs of employers by offering a continuum of care for work-related injuries, as well as injury prevention and wellness programs.
