WEST CHESTER, Pa., Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Access Group, Inc., announced today that Hannah R. Arterian, Dean and Professor of Law at the Syracuse University College of Law, has been elected as Chair of its Board of Directors. Arterian has served as an Access Group Director since January 2009 and has been a member of its Executive Committee since 2011.
Beyond her active role in helping to develop and implement a dynamic strategic plan since joining the Board, Arterian is well-versed in the challenges facing the Access Group's Institutional Members and their students.
"I have always appreciated Hannah's perspective and her commitment to law students specifically and legal education generally. As our next Chair, I look forward to continuing our collaboration to implement the strategic goals that Hannah was so instrumental in structuring, including increased services to our members and students, robust research and data analysis and strategic advocacy," said Christopher P. Chapman, Access Group's President and Chief Executive Officer.
"I am humbled and honored to take on this role and move Access Group's strategic vision forward," said Arterian. "Working with our Member institutions to fully embrace the important strategic efforts we are pursuing while enhancing the public debate on legal education is my top priority."
Along with Arterian's appointment as Chair, two other board officers were elected – W.H.
