Access Fixtures Announces New LED Basketball Court Lighting System under $9,500

WORCESTER, Mass., March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Access Fixtures announced a new LED basketball court lighting system able to light a full court using very little energy and requiring virtually no maintenance for years, while costing less than $9,500. As the newest product to join Access Fixtures' extensive line of commercial and sports LED lighting, the LED basketball court lighting package produces light levels of more than 15 foot-candles across the full playing area while achieving extremely even light levels, a max/min ratio of only 2.44. Access Fixtures LED basketball court lighting system is rated LM70 for 100,000 hours, greatly reducing maintenance and energy use. The new LED basketball court system retails under $9,500.00.

Each LED luminaire produces over 53,000 lumens while using only 378 watts for an incredible 140 lumens per watt. Mean luminaire lumens exceed that of 1000w Metal Halide while using only 1512 watts which is 65% less energy than metal halide. The LED luminaires are rated for LM70 at 100,000 hours and have a 5-year warranty. LED basketball court lighting systems include 20' poles, mounting hardware and high-performance LED luminaires.
