Access Emanate to Rebrand to Access Brand Communications
New Branding Reflects Company Mission to Simplify World of Brand Communications; Bob Osmond Joins as General Manager of Access New York
SAN FRANCISCO, June 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Access Emanate, a Ketchum company, today announced its rebrand to Access Brand Communications (Access), with a deepened focus on simplifying integrated communications for brands. In addition, the company announced the appointment of Bob Osmond as general manager of the company's New York office.
"Marketers continue to be challenged in effectively implementing integrated communications. Connecting the dots between PR, digital and experiential channels can be overwhelming and costly," said Susan Butenhoff, CEO of Access. "Throughout our 25-year history, Access's DNA has been to uncomplicate the complicated. We are known for translating the benefits of products and services – from enterprise technology to consumer packaged goods – and unearthing the keen customer insights that drive successful brand campaigns. By blending our teams by design with digital, content, influencer and creative staff, we are streamlining the process to help clients deliver on the promise that is inherent in our name – access to audiences with meaningful experiences that earn impact."
Access Communications merged with Emanate in September 2015 to combine Access' market-leading technology and challenger brand expertise with Emanate's extensive brand knowledge to create an agency with deep domain expertise in how digital technologies are redefining the brand and consumer relationship. Through expanded digital, content, design and video offerings, as well as strategic planning capabilities, Access has implemented integrated brand campaigns for leading technology innovators and household brand names alike.
Bob Osmond Joins Access to Lead New York Office
Bob Osmond brings more than 20 years of award-winning credentials in deep technology and consumer brands, new business acquisition, talent management and mentorship to Access. His blend of business-to-business and consumer brand-building experience mirrors the history of Access and he will be an important part of achieving the agency's growth goals. Bob will report to Access President, Matt Afflixio.
"Access is grounded in the core belief that every relationship is earned, whether it's with clients, media, influencers or our clients' customers," said Osmond. "This is particularly relevant in an environment where distrust of institutions is at an all-time high and where consumers and business buyers alike have tremendous power in helping to build brands. I am impressed with the world-class team and roster of clients who have placed their confidence in us and ready to contribute to our agency's abilities to continue to earn that trust every day."
Bob has rejoined the Ketchum family after serving as executive vice president of client service at DiGennaro Communications. Previously, Bob was Ketchum's SVP and global account director for leading consumer and technology brands. His work with agency teams has received industry recognitions including Cannes Lions, PR Week, PRSA Silver Anvil, Sabre and Compass Awards.
