Acadian Asset Management Hires Strategist to Support Firm's Marketing and Client Service Team

BOSTON, Dec. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Acadian Asset Management LLC, a firm specializing in active global and international equity investment, today announced the hiring of Seth Weingram as Senior Vice President, Strategist to the Marketing and Client Service team. Mr. Weingram will be based out of the firm's Boston, MA headquarters and will report to Ross Dowd, Executive Vice President, Global Head of Marketing and Client Service at Acadian Asset Management.

In his new role, Mr. Weingram will engage directly with clients, articulating Acadian's views on market developments and current topics in quantitative investing. He will also help to drive Acadian's development of analytics and new investment products.

"Seth brings over 15 years of relevant experience to the Acadian team, including a rare combination of background in quantitative investing as well as options and volatility," said Mr. Dowd. "His experience and relationships in these areas brings an exciting new dimension to our client servicing and marketing capabilities."

Mr. Weingram joins Acadian from UBS, where he served as a Managing Director in Equity Derivatives Trading. Previously, Mr. Weingram worked at Barclays Global Investors as a researcher focusing on options and volatility, and he was a founding member and for several years global head of Deutsche Bank's award-winning Equity Derivatives Strategy Group.
