Acadian Asset Management Appoints Ilya Figelman as Senior Vice President on Research Team
BOSTON, Jan. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Acadian Asset Management LLC, a firm specializing in active global and international investing, today announced the hiring of Ilya Figelman as Senior Vice President and senior member of Acadian's research team. Mr. Figelman will be based out of the firm's Boston, MA headquarters and focus on asset allocation, macro-economic research and predictive signals across asset classes.

Mr. Figelman was one of the founding members of AllianceBernstein's Dynamic Asset Allocation group in 2009, where he served as a quantitative analyst and portfolio manager. He became Research Director of AB's newly formed Multi-Asset Solutions business in 2013. Previous to that, he held quantitative and analytical roles in other groups at AB, General Motors Asset Management and American Express.

Mr. Figelman holds an M.S. in financial mathematics from New York University and a B.S. in systems science and engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. He has also published several papers on equity momentum, options strategies and risk budgeting.
