Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Hosts 2012 Educational Conference
CINCINNATI, Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) today opened its 2012 Educational Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. The event brings together approximately two thousand pharmacists and other health care professionals who develop and administer pharmacy benefits for more than 200 million Americans.

The conference also contains two General Sessions featuring well-known keynote speakers. On Oct. 4, former Senator Bill Bradley will address possible solutions to the partisan divide that has created political gridlock in Washington. And on Oct. 5, body-language expert Janine Driver will describe how our non-verbal communication says more than we might think. The conference also included an event called The Exchange, which is a forum designed to encourage interaction among conference attendees and increase dialogue between manufacturers and managed care decision makers.
