DALLAS, Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Academic Partnerships (AP) today appointed David Daniels as its President of University Partnerships. Daniels joins AP after 22 years with Pearson, most recently as its President and Managing Director of Online Learning Services.
Daniels comes to AP with deep knowledge of higher education and the strategic utilization of technology-aided learning to impact enrollment growth at a time of intense competition. Most recently, Daniels oversaw Pearson Embanet and its comprehensive services to universities across the United States.
"I am delighted that David has joined our team," said Carl Sparks, AP's CEO. "His exceptional track record of success, comprehensive knowledge of our industry and passion for higher education will bring immediate value to our efforts. I very much look forward to working with David to maximize AP's potential as we expand access to high-quality, affordable higher education through online learning."
"I am a huge believer in the power of higher education and its impact on society and feel proud to be joining a company that stands for access and affordability, particularly today, when consumers of university degrees are increasingly sensitive to their cost," Daniels said. "I am excited about working with my new AP team and making an immediate contribution to such an important mission."
