In this role, De La Vega will oversee all existing and new university partnerships in the company's rapid global expansion and will report to Academic Partnerships Chairman and CEO Randy Best.

De La Vega joins Academic Partnerships from Pearson, where he was head of the Latin America Hub. Based in Mexico City, he led a team of 700 and was responsible for Pearson Education Business, including verticals in English, K-12, Higher Education and Digital Products. De La Vega worked with the region's industry and governments to foster the development and adoption of educational technologies. Prior to Pearson, De La Vega spent more than 10 years in leadership roles, including as president and COO of C.G.I., Inc., and as managing director for Nokia in West Africa and for Mexico and Central America.
