Academic Partnerships Appoints Jennifer L. Scott as Senior Vice President of Academic Services and Products
Veteran online education expert to lead company's faculty support and academic innovation
DALLAS, Oct. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Academic Partnerships (AP), a global provider of online services for higher education, announced today it has hired Jennifer Scott as senior vice president for Academic Services and Products. Ms. Scott will lead a global team of instructional designers and subject-matter experts in online pedagogy as well as a new product development group to provide best-in-class support for faculty and distance learning teams at AP partner universities.

Ms. Scott is responsible for managing AP's academic services operations and delivering customized support as well as best practices for faculty members and distance learning teams worldwide at partner institutions as they develop online courses and programs. She is also leading special initiatives within her department such as the Faculty Research Grant program, which bi-annually sponsors research projects about online learning by faculty from AP partner institutions, and Faculty eCommons, an online community for those interested in online pedagogy and a hub for information, tools and resources related to teaching and learning online.
Ms. Scott joins Academic Partnerships from Colloquy360 (part of Kaplan, Inc), where she led an Academic and Institutional Services department that supported universities in the design and implementation of online degree programs across disciplines. She was also responsible for student success services and academic operations. She was previously Director of Partner and Product Development at Fathom, an early online learning consortium helmed by Columbia University.
