NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- ACA International, the association of credit and collection professionals, is proud to honor Kaylyn McElhenney with $1,000 from the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship fund. The Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship is made possible each year by the ACA International Education Foundation.
McElhenney is currently studying psychology at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn. McElhenney, along with three other scholarship recipients, received the Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship based on cumulative grade point average and a 2- to 3-page essay on the topic on the value of consumer credit to our nation's economy.
McElhenney's father, Jimmy McElheney, works at Revenue Recovery Corporation in Knoxville, Tenn.
Scholarship recipients must enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours at an accredited college, university, vocational-technical college or community college within 12 months following receipt of the award.
