ABT Schaeffler Audi Formula E Team Celebrates Win in Long Beach; Prepares for Inaugural Paris Race

HERZOGENAURACH, Germany, April 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Formula E team of ABT Schaeffler Audi has reason to celebrate, as the team took two podium finishes after its latest Formula E Grand Prix race in Long Beach, Calif. on April 2. Driver Lucas di Grassi of the ABT Schaeffler Audi team took first place, while teammate Daniel Abt came in third place.

The 1.3 mile circuit consisted of 41 laps on the outskirts of Los Angeles and lasted approximately 43 minutes. The Formula E series now leaves the Americas, after races in Buenos Aries, Mexico City and Long Beach, to kick off the spring / summer portion in Europe.
The next stop – the FIA Formula E Visa Paris ePrix – is the newest addition to the Formula E calendar. The track will weave around the iconic Les Invalides building with the Eiffel Tower prominent in the background. This seventh race of the season will take place on Saturday, April 23 at 4 p.m. CET.
