BETHESDA, Md., June 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Abt Associates has won a Hermes Creative Award for material created on behalf of a project that expands access to health care for people in developing countries by engaging the private sector. The five-year project, called Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) Project, ended in 2015.
Creative Partners, Abt's in-house design studio, received the award in the category of "Event Program" for the SHOPS end-of-project event, Celebrating Achievements: Private Sector Health. The project was funded by USAID.

The award honors the creative professionals who are responsible for the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. The Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals administers the international competition and this year, there were more than 6,000 entries.
